Contest!
Ok, so the themes for my contest have been decided. You can pick between SONG LYRICS/BOOK QUOTES and FANTASY. But because the theme PRESSURE was also popular, and I'm curious to see what becomes of it, I'm offering that theme as an option as well.
Contest Rules
1) Maximum of 2 entries per person please.
2) Entries must be a manipulation, a digital painting, a drawing (pencil or coloured), or a CSS.
3) You do not have to use my stock for your manips or references, but you're welcome to if you wish.
4) All entries must be submitted no later than December 12, and the winners will be announced shortly after.
5) All entries must be original. Any form of theft or plagiarism is not allowed.
6) You can choose from the 3 themes listed above. Feel free to combine a couple together if you wish. I have no objection to mild gore or blood in your work, but let's be civil and not go overboard ok?
7) You must specify what theme(s) you chose in the 'Artist's Comments' section of your submission.
8) Please inform me of your contest submission through a comment either on my front page, or in this journal, and please provide a link to it.
9) If you have any questions at all, I would be more than happy to answer them. Please don't hesitate to ask. If I've forgotten anything, please let me know.
Theme Details
FANTASY- Basically self-explanatory. Use your imagination! Create a mythical creature, or add characteristics such as wings, horns, fangs, unique designs and markings etc. Or, maybe you want to create a fantastical background or scene. It could be as simple as a unicorn, or as complex as constructing a whole new creature from a combination of others. Just have fun, and think outside the box 
SONG LYRICS/BOOK QUOTES- Also pretty self-explanatory. Pick your favorite song lyric(s) or a quote you love from a book you read. The more it means to you, the better the finished result usually. If you do decide on this theme, you must include part of the lyrics/quote directly on your work. However, in the 'Artist's Comments' section of your submission, you must write out the entire quote or lyrics as well as specify which book or song it came from, and by whom it was written/composed.
PRESSURE- I'm not going to say too much because I want you all to use your imagination and portray it as you wish. But basically show how it feels to be under so much pressure, to be pushed to the edge, like you can't take anymore before you snap or break down, or give up. However you choose to deal with it. I'm anxious to see how this theme turns out.

It is my expectation as a stock provider that you follow the rules posted below, regardless of what you plan on using my stock images for.
- Please respect my rights as the original photographer of these photos. Do not claim them as your own. Please give me proper credit and don't abuse these privileges, or I'll be forced to remove my stock.
- If you are using my stock here on deviantART, you must credit me in the 'artist's comment' section of your work with a link back to this account.
- My stock can be used outside of DA without consent, as long as proper credit is given directly on your image(EquineStockImagery@deviantART.com).
- Please notify me through a comment on the image you are using for your artwork.
- You MUST send a link of your final product, whether it's on DA or not! I love to see them.
- Please ask for my permission to use my images in deviantART prints. I usually don't have a problem with it.
- If you wish to use these images for commercial purposes, such as making any sort of profit from them, please notify me first. We'll work something out.
